The Indian Office Kitchen — An Honest Investigation

Exhibit A: A dabba in the fridge with someone's name written in three languages. Has been there since Diwali 2023. Nobody touches it. Nobody throws it. It simply exists.

Exhibit B: The office microwave. Scientists have identified 7 distinct food samples on the interior walls. Three are unidentified.

Exhibit C: The tea/coffee area. Someone always finishes the last of the milk and puts the empty carton back. This person has never been caught. This person will never be caught.

Exhibit D: The shared snack someone brought back from their hometown. Gone in 11 minutes. The person who brought it hasn't even sat down yet.

Exhibit E: The passive aggressive sticky note on someone's dabba. A classic. A timeless piece of Indian office literature.
